Stations

Glacier County EMS consists of three stations; our primary station and two substations.  Our primary station is based out of Cut Bank.  The primary response area for emergencies encompasses the eastern portion of Glacier County and the western border of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, north to the Canadian border.  Cut Bank Station is staffed 24/7 with one duty crew and an additional two call crews.  Annually the crews run almost 2000 calls from Cut Bank.

Our substation in Babb responds in the Babb/St Mary area.  This area also encompasses the western border of Glacier National Park and north to the Canadian border.  Babb Station is staffed year round by a combination of full time and paid-on-call staff that frequently work with the National Park Service, U.S. Border Patrol, and regional medical flight services.

Our second substation is based in East Glacier and is rated as a Quick Response Unit (QRU).  In the summer this station is staffed full time as a fully stocked BLS ambulance with ALS capabilities.  The rest of the year this station is staffed by local volunteer employees.  The primary response area includes several miles of US Highway 2, the Two Medicine Valley in Glacier National Park, and the western side of Glacier County and eastern border of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
