Community Involvement

Glacier County EMS believes being an active part of our community is important for a number of reasons; we want our community to be as safe and healthy as possible, in the event that they need our services we want them to feel comfortable with our crews.  To achieve this we participate in a variety of events in Glacier County and the surrounding areas including: multiple cancer awareness events, health fairs in which we offer free 12-leads, food and item drives, Chamber of Commerce events, local parades, sports standbys, rodeos and more.  We led a bicycle helmet drive that provided a helmet and bicycle safety education for every elementary school age child in Cut Bank, we do several visits to Headstart and schools for 911 education each year, and organized a 5k Superhero Fun Run during Lewis and Clark Days 2016.  The proceeds from the fun run and several other fund raising efforts are being used to raise money to build an ADA compliant playground to make a safe environment for children with special needs and their families to have fun; which Cut Bank currently lacks.
