Glacier County Emergency Medical Services is a full time emergency medical service that employs full and part time employees. The staff includes our Director, Assistant Director, Billing Supervisor, Billing Specialist, and a variety of full and part time Critical Care Paramedics, Paramedics, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Emergency Medical Responders. During the summer months we also hire seasonal employees to back fill our substations in East Glacier and Babb.
Our full time staff work 36 hours with an additional 36 hours of call per week. We work 12 and 24 hour shifts rotating at 0700 and 1900 each day. We staff our primary station in Cut Bank with one first out duty crew and two call crews 24 hours each day. Our call crews are required to respond to the station within eight minutes of a call.
GCEMS is an entity of Glacier County and as employees of Glacier County the staff must meet all applicable standards.
